The Trout Group was founded in 1995 to provide high level investor relations services to the biotechnology industry. Our experience and knowledge of the industry have allowed us to grow into a leading investor relations firm in the sector. Since our inception, we have helped over 100 public and private companies across the globe and of all sizes and stages of development achieve their investor relations goals. Why are we called the Trout Group? The name of our firm highlights our commitment to working together as a firm and with our clients. In classical music, the quintet is the quintessential illustration of teamwork. Each member is an integral part of the team and by working in unison, a small, talented, smart group can sound like a grand symphony. A favorite of firm founder Jonathan Fassberg is a piano quintet by Franz Schubert, popularly called the Trout Quintet – hence The Trout Group.
